The Lead Product Development at DOCKR mentioned that their cargo bikes were initially supplied with either a plastic box with aluminum profiles or an aluminum box. “It quickly became evident that even minor collisions caused significant damage to the boxes, necessitating write-offs. In line with our vision to scale up production, we developed a more robust box and turned to Aluminized for the aluminum frame. Collaborating with Aluminized’s engineers, we were able to create suitable structures. The result was a frame that perfectly met our requirements.

Communication between DOCKR and Aluminized was positive, despite the substantial differences in the identity of both companies. Occasionally, we had to meet in the middle, but it had a very positive outcome. We are satisfied with the final result. Thanks to our collaboration with Aluminized, we were able to achieve stable production.”
